Treatment overview

Bioreparation describes a group of injectable skin treatments that combine hyaluronic acid with other ingredients, such as amino acids or peptides, chosen to support the overall quality of the skin.

It is often considered for skin that looks tired, thin or less resilient. The right formulation and plan are selected after a detailed consultation.

Potential benefits

  • May improve the appearance of skin texture and tone
  • Can support a fresher, more rested-looking complexion
  • Tailored formulation for individual skin concerns
  • Can be combined with other skin treatments where appropriate

Results are not guaranteed and vary from person to person.

The procedure

The skin is cleansed and prepared, and a numbing cream may be applied. The product is then placed using fine micro-injections or a cannula, depending on the area and technique your practitioner recommends.

  • Possible minor bruising
  • A course of sessions is often suggested — this is discussed at consultation

Aftercare

  • Avoid make-up for 12 hours
  • Avoid heat, sun exposure, alcohol and vigorous exercise for 24–48 hours
  • Keep the area clean and avoid touching it
  • Apply SPF daily

Frequently asked questions

How is bioreparation different from biorevitalisation?

Both focus on skin quality. Bioreparation products typically include additional active ingredients alongside hyaluronic acid. Your practitioner will explain which is more suitable for you.

When might I notice a difference?

Everyone's skin responds differently. Changes, if any, tend to be gradual, and progress is reviewed at follow-up.

Is there downtime?

Most people return to normal activities quickly, although small bumps or redness may be visible for a short time.

All prices are starting prices. Final treatment costs may vary depending on individual requirements and will be confirmed during your consultation.
